Cavaliers are extremely versatile. They are as happy laying on your lap
for hours as they are taking a long hike. They are very intelligent and
easily trained. They enjoy conformation, obedience and/or agility. They
are remarkably patient and loving to children and are very successful as
therapy dogs. They are easily groomed at home and have the most adorable
ways about them.
Their only downside is that they can have a number of breed related
ailments , especially MVD.Many pure bred dogs are capable of having breed
related problems, and that is why we have to be so careful about breeding
dogs that should be bred. I have had an insatiable thirst for knowing
about breeding. I weighed whether my female should be bred and to whom.
I'm proud of my decision, Nina is an excellent representation fo the breed
and a natural mother. I'm particularly fond of the whole colors and am
optimistic that our puppies will demonstrate everything this breed should
be.
